Donations in kind
We welcome donations in kind. Please click here for more details.
Payir is a non-profit charitable trust and a major part of its activities are funded by donations received from well wishers. While some of our projects are partially sponsored by our partner organizations, we depend on contributions from individuals to keep us going. You can make a difference to rural empowerment by making a donation now. Since we manage the finances and delivery of our programs end to end, we can ensure that the whole of your contribution is spent on actual projects. We keep our operational overheads very low.
To give you an idea of the amount of change your money can bring about:
- Rs. 3600 can sponsor an undernourished child for a year under our Nutrition Program or
- Rs. 5000 can sponsor a child rescued from child labour for a month in our Children Residential Center
- Rs. 10000 can sponsor a Health worker for a month providing care for people to 1000 villagers under our Health initiatives
- Rs. 10000 can sponsor a Teacher for a month esnuring education of 50 village children under our Government School Intervention
- Rs. 1 lakh can help us greatly with providing diesel/solar power generation, thereby protecting our equipment from damages due to erratic power fluctuations
All donations are tax exemption under Section 80G in India, and under 501(c)(3) in the US
