Approach
Demonstrate - During this phase of the project the team tries to show the means and ways to improve the local conditions. During this phase expertise from outside is actively sought and used.
Facilitate - At this stage the payir team shares responsibility and initiative with the community. Project is assumed to be at a phase where the local resources have been sufficiently trained.
Partner - A stage in the project where the payir team can step back, and let community lead. At this point the local community is considered to have passed beyond the point of self sustanance. This is also the stage at which team itself consolidates its learnings from community. The team would improvise upon these learnings so that they can be applied elsewhere.
All round development - Payir is committed to address all facets of rural development. We believe that a wholistic approach creates a postive change that is more sustainable.
